Our Story
The idea for our start-up came up in 2018, when Manuel traveled the world after his high school graduation. Full of impressions, he returned with many photos and videos. Many of his friends created photo books about their experiences during their trip, but Manuel thought that if he did so, the videos he had taken would be lost and would never be looked at again. This made him wonder why it's so easy to view pictures on the wall or in photo books, but the same isn't true for videos. Shouldn't technology be advanced enough to allow people to watch videos on the refrigerator, on postcards, or in books?
This was the beginning of an idea. Relatively quickly we started to implement the idea, with Cedric dedicating himself to the technical implementation due to his technical background and Julian, who had studied business psychology, taking over the market research. Together we worked on our project and finally managed to finish our first prototype and market research in spring 2020. memperience was born.
